| Bio: | I am me. The best part of being me is being the mother of a beautiful, highly intelligent young girl. Outside of being a mom, I am a computer programmer, web applications developer and graphic designer, and I am working at becoming a digital animator and DVD author. At heart, I am a personally conservative person, with generally leftist views (I'm a member of the Green party), and have spent more of my life as a vegitarian (combination of political and environmental reasons), than an omnivore. I have spent 90% of my life in some type of education. I have been called the perpetual student, and I'm smart enough not to argue. As a child I had goals of being an astronaut, and worked very hard to acheive that goal, but was permanently grounded due to a diagnosis of Cushing' syndrome in 1993. It's been a real struggle since then to lead a semi-normal life. But in the time since 2003, I have found my will becoming stronger, due I'm sure, by the need to provide for my daughter, and be there for her as long as I possibly can. In my professional life I require very little.. but what I do require is of the utmost importance to me. Specifically, I need to continue to learn things and be challenged. If I don't, I get bored and highly dissatisfied with my job, and my life. I am a private pilot (got my pilot's license before I got my driver's license), and flying is one of my favorite things to do. I love rollercoasters, and pushing the limits, especially speed. I'm an avid reader, a history buff (ancient history mostly), I study comparative religion, and I love Celtic music and pretty much anything Canadian. I am from Irish and Lakota Souix stock.. In other words I can be very peaceful and loving, but I have a mean temper when pushed. I am loyal to a T but when I am burned, I never trust again.
